The Chapter is always looking for helping hands to maintain and improve the trail.

Two and three day work sessions are usually scheduled in May or June, and at the end of the hiking season in September or October.

Most of the work takes place in Katahdin Woods & Waters National Monument east of Baxter State Park, often in view of Katahdin. There are other single day work sessions along the trail from Houlton to Fort Fairfield.
